As the sources of extra-pure hydrogen, our AEPHs should be extremely useful to the users of chromatographs because during hydrogen desorbtion from AEPH the output pressure is practically constant at the constancy of temperature (fluctuates not above than 10% at the temperature change of 5 degrees) and only a few depends on the hydrogen contents in AEPH at the broad interval of the hydrogen concentration. The pressure in a system does not exceed 7 atm at 35 degrees centigrade.

The principle of hydrogen accumulation is the convertible reaction of the absorbent (intermetallic alloy) with hydrogen (or deuterium). The equilibrium of this reaction is easily displaced by changing of pressure and temperature. The quantity of accumulated hydrogen reaches up to 1.5 % from the absorbent mass, the concentration of hydrogen exceeding 1.5 - 2 times the one of liquid hydrogen. Gases which are inert with respect to the intermetallic alloy do not prevent hydrogen to absorbe. As a result of the absorbent's selectivity the desorbing from hydride phase hydrogen has purity 99.999 %. The dependence of equilibrial pressure (P) on temperature (T) in such reaction is described as lg(P) = a - b/T, where a and b are constants of certain intermetallic alloy.
The AEPH device consists of a standard type balloon from stainless steel with manometer and a precise pressure regulator. The processes of hydrogen charge and discharge are produced in accordance with the supplied user's manual, do not present big handicaps and are safe.
The device for Hydride Dispersion
The device FOR HYDRIDE DISPERSION (MHD) of magnetic materials (alloys or sintered magnets) based on neodimium-iron-boron or samarium-cobalt compounds is intended for grinding of intermetallic alloys which are capable to form hydrides.
To such materials relate well-known magnetic materials of type Nd-Fe-B, Sm-Co and similar which are used for manufacturing of permanent magnets. The technology of producing them is such one that the most labour-intensive, energy-consuming and hazardous stage is milling the alloy into powder. Our researches show that chiping of such alloys is expedient to produce by method of hydride dispersion with the offered device. In this case:
